The Officina

The Miriello Officina is the workshop of Ron Miriello of Miriello Grafico. The Barrio Logan studio is a former fruitmarket, used now for art and design projects and as a meeting salon for neighbors, fellow creatives and art students.

 

The Officina

The Officina is the Miriello studio/laboratorio in a former Mexican grocery store in Barrio Logan, CA. It feels like Italy in some ways, which is probably why it’s easy and inviting. The Officina has digital tools, like computers and scanners, and analog tools, like ink-brayers and chain-pullers. ‘70s steel bicycles live next to drawings for new high-rises, art projects share space with design strategy and branding systems. A good sign: designers, makers, architects, neighbors happen by and take a seat at the red bench.
