The early design career was about learning, listening …and survival. Mid-career was about building, promoting and survival. Later career has been a return to that learning and listening (with a tad more wisdom). The CLIENT | PUBLIC | PERSONAL project categories on this site are purposely mixed together- because they’ve all now managed to converge. The work types influence each other, they cross-pollinate, with the latest seeming the most successful, the easiest, the most satisfying and usually the most unexpected.
Satisfaction seems more in the design-outcomes than in the design-artifacts. More psyched than ever about what’s up ahead … in that inky dark. -RM
