The Miriello Officina is the workshop of Ron Miriello of Miriello Grafico. The Barrio Logan studio is a former fruit-market, used now for art and design projects and as a meeting salon for neighbors, fellow creatives and students.

 

Finding Mario - a visit with Mario Martini

I thought I was collecting Italian steel bicycles, until I realized I wasn’t. I was really collecting stories about Italian steel bike makers. Mario Martini is 94 now and thanks to a fluky happin chance…we’re back in touch after many years. Here’s a short video by Rachela Fey who came to my Officina in Barrio Logan, CA to talk about bicycles and why I collect them. Done on assignment for the San Diego Italian Film Festival.
