What happens when these various mechanical parts I’ve collecting for no apparent reason become printing plates. In a printing-making class at the Bread&Salt Athenaeum, I ran some prototypes to find out. A combination of mono-prints, blind embossing, offset and letterpress on pre-printed pages. Some of the test results from the experiment are here. Traditional analog printmaking insists you get dirty and real and keep out of your own way.
