Barrio Unido

Barrio Logan, California is working waterfront community in San Diego, California. Ron Miriello and the design firm of Miriello Grafico, together with illustrator Joel Sotelo, designed a series of posters to celebrate the traditions of Cesar Chavez, Chicano Park, and the rich legacy of the neighborhood. Barrio Logan is located on San Diego Bay next to the communities of Logan Heights, National City and East Village.

A United Barrio Logan Community    

 A San Diego waterfront neighborhood with a complex history like Barrio Logan, CA is smart enough to know culture is fragile. People new to the Barrio don't know what it went through and is going through, why it developed with richness and attitude. Guerrilla night-posters suggested the past is alive, that the future will be different if Barrio Unido.

MIRIELLO created a series of 12 Barrio Unido posters with Joel Sotelo to acknowledge the community of Barrio Logan, CA.
