Barrio Logan is a community notorious for street murals. Since the late 60’s protests at Chicano Park brought dozens of artists to make a statement, the street art traditional continues on many forms Mario Torero, Victor Ochoa, Salvator Torres, Micheal Schnorr and others have left their mark. Brazilian artist Yomar Augusto recently marked The Logan with his colorful weaving series murals. Yomar’s work adds to thr building works of Crol and Werk on the north side and the former huge work of Dr Lakra for the Viva la Revolucion museum exhibition.
