Drawing Car Faces in Sicily
The Giro di Sicilia vintage car rally around the island keeps moving for 5 days so there’s not a lot of time for sketching. I’d steal away at lunches to catch a few characters stopped in piazza. Or maybe at night parked at our hotel. The cars became part of our travelling family after a while. Each with its own funky personality and quirks. Characters themselves carrying us through the provincial roads of Sicily.
