Helping a Place in Italy I Love. Is this Work or Play?

There’s something about being in this small unspoiled Tuscan village that is both delicate and very special. At the same time, Radicondoli (in the provence of Siena) needs to find new ways to attract activity to stay alive economically. A delicate balance of how to “market” a special place, while staying true to what makes it special in the first place…it’s very lack of marketing-pollution. The village asked for help with this delicate brain-surgery, to attract a type of visitation that could contribute more than just their money to the betterment of the town . Working with Kelly Davison, business strategy wiz, we’re listening to the town with the hope of uncovering a more potent way to talk about why a visit to Radicondoli is worth the effort. Stay in touch as this pleasure-project takes shape. The video is a handheld capture of our vibrant first conversation with the townspeople. Helping a place you love is both a pleasure and a responsibility to get it right.
